Busy Yonkers Roadway To See Lane Closures For Several Days

YONKERS, N.Y. - A busy stretch of a prominent Yonkers roadway will see lane closures for several days as contracting crews complete utility work in the area.

A section of Tuckahoe Road between Bronxville Road and Cross Street will be reduced to a single lane of alternating traffic beginning on Friday, due to area utility work.

Police said that the traffic condition will persist for 24 hours a day until at least Wednesday, Jan. 17. Motorists can expect delays and have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
